The unified voice of business
The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce provides a variety of continuing education for its members and their employees.
From supervisory and management training to annual Human Resources and Manufacturers Conferences to Legal Reference Series publications, the South Carolina Chamber provides resources that help businesses. Contact Tish Anderson at 803-255-2627 for more information on any of the continuing education opportunities.
In order to sustain the success of manufacturers, for the third consecutive year the Chamber will host a Manufacturers Conference. Past conferences have covered topics that are strategic in nature such as sustainable manufacturing, future energy solutions, international tax issues, supply chain management, intellectual property issues, employment and workforce, ports, transportation, labor, and innovation and technology in manufacturing. The 3rd Annual Manufacturers Conference agenda and location will be announced soon.
Each May, the Chamber hosts its annual HR Conference to provide attendees with the latest information on human resources policy and trends. The conference also enables HR practitioners to network with fellow HR professionals, exhibitors and sponsors.
Dollar for dollar, the 10/30-Hour OSHA courses are the best investment in safety and health on the job. Taught by OSHA-authorized instructor Wilder Allen, the courses are designed to present practical, proven information that can be implemented immediately in the workplace.
Participants who successfully complete these courses will receive an official OSHA 10- or 30-Hour course completion card from the U.S. OSHA. South Carolina’s OSHA guidelines are 99 percent consistent with federal OSHA guideline standards. The card will demonstrate an effort towards voluntary compliance with all applicable OSHA standards and will be useful in protecting your company from OSHA inspections. View the agenda.
