This coming Friday, the South Carolina Hospital Association and APIC Consulting Services will present a free online session discussing how to prevent COVID-19 exposure among employees and customers. Topics to be covered include: The current epidemiology of SARS-CoV-2, which causes the disease COVID-19, in easy-to-understand language Strategies to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in non-healthcare businesses CDC and evidence-based recommendations and best practices for identifying and managing employees with COVID-19 Participants will be able to ask questions in real-time of a national expert in infection prevention and control during this presentation.
