SC Chamber Announces Two Key Vote Alerts in Senate

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce issued two Key Vote letters to members of the South Carolina Senate on bills regarding Employee Benefits and the State Superintendent of Education. The State Chamber supports passage of the following legislation and these votes will be scored on the Chamber’s annual Legislative Scorecard:
S.218, a bill which would prevent political subdivisions of the state from imposing mandates upon private businesses to provide employee benefits such as paid sick leave, disability benefits, death benefits, paid time off, retirement benefits, and profit-sharing benefits.
