“The House of Representatives just voted to deliver bold and historic reform to an archaic and confusing individual income tax system that discourages investment and stymies talent attraction. H.4216 represents the meaningful income tax reform our state needs to effectively compete with states across the country to attract top talent, high-paying jobs, and innovative industries. The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce applauds the House for the passage of H.4216 and looks forward to working with the Senate to see this much-needed reform signed into law.”
