Meet Cynthia – our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, who over sees the day-to-day administrative and operation functions of the Chamber. Cynthia also works in the areas of education and workforce development.

Cynthia has over 25 years of experience collaborating with schools and businesses to improve students’ academic achievement and encouraging post-secondary education to have an educated workforce in South Carolina. Cynthia is a skilled communicator and collaborator, fostering strong relationships across the Palmetto State. Cynthia graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Cynthia serves as the Executive of the SC Chamber Education and Workforce Foundation. The programs include the HBCU STEM Program; SC Business Week; and Economic Engagement.

When Cynthia is not in the office, she can be found spending time with her husband, James Bennett, and their two sons, J. Anthony and Houston.
